AI Platform Launched by Eli Lilly to Accelerate Drug Discovery

A cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI) platform “TuneLab” designed to fast-track the discovery of new medicines has been launched by Eli Lilly & Company. With over $1 Billion worth of proprietary research data, TuneLab offers biotechnology firms access to advanced AI and machine learning models that have traditionally been out of reach for small scale industries.

The company promises to keep the confidentiality of the data provided by user companies with this federated learning framework.Early collaborators include Circle Pharma and Insitro who will continue to refine and expand the platform’s predictive capabilities.

As a part of Eli Lilly’s Catalyze360 initiative, this software underscores the company’s commitment to promote innovation, bridging the gap between big pharma resources and biotech creativity. The company also has plans to increase efficiency of drug development by integrating predictive in-vivo models in future.
