Building Vision 2047: India Positions Itself as Global MedTech Hub

The Department of Pharmaceuticals, in collaboration with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, CDSCO and the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices will host the second edition of the India MedTech Expo 2025 from September 4th and continue till September 6th 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan.
The Union Ministers along with the Senior Government Officials, global experts and industry leaders are set to inaugurate this event which is poised to showcase India’s emerging strength as a global Medtech manufacturing hub. With participation from over 350 exhibitors, six exclusive pavilions and 150+ international buyers from 30 nations. The Expo will highlight India’s potential in precision engineering and affordable healthcare solutions.
The theme of the Expo aligned with the Government’s Vision 2047 agenda of building a self-reliant, innovation-led healthcare ecosystem. MSMEs, start-ups, research institutions and state showcases will bring forward opportunities for investment, collaboration and exports that reinforce India’s position in the global MedTech landscape.
India’s MedTech Expo 2025 is set to act as a catalyst in advancing affordable healthcare access today while shaping the nation’s long term aspiration of becoming a world leader in medical technology by 2047.
