Special Campaign 5.0 Preparation Begins Across Department of Pharmaceuticals

The Department of Pharmaceuticals (DoP) under the directory of the Ministry of Chemicals& Fertilizers, has initiated preparatory activities for the upcoming Special Campaign designed for Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM) 5.0 effective from from 2nd of October to 31st October, 2025.

The campaign is expected to foster greater transparency, efficiency and public service delivery within the pharmaceutical sector. To be implemented across all DoP departments, PSUs and several institutions, SCDPM 5.0 aims to accelerate clearing backlogs, strengthening record management, and promoting digital practices.

Previous campaigns of SCDPM were successful in disposal and review of files with digitisation of records and cleanliness activities over 11,000 Jan Ausadhi Kendras. Targets for the 2025 campaign will be set by 25th September 2025, ensuring a coordinated effort across all affiliated organizations to achieve measurable outcomes.
