Hyderabad in Global Spotlight: Among Top 7 Life Science Hubs, Says CM Revanth Reddy

Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy announced that Hyderabad has risen from manufacturing to innovation across different promising sectors like Biotech, Pharma and MedTech underscoring the city’s shift to high value R&D and product development.
The remarks came at the Asia-Pacific BioDesign Innovation Summit in Hyderabad where the state pledged full support for indigenous medical innovation with robust data-privacy safeguards.Reinforcing this momentum, Hyderabad was recently ranked among the World’s top 7 life sciences hubs, the only Indian city on the list reflecting strong investment flow, job creation and growth of global capability centers.
The Chief Minister also highlighted improving infrastructure including the Medical Devices Park, Sultanpur-India’s largest dedicated medtech campus supporting diagnostics, implants, imaging and digital health enterprises positioning Telangana to accelerate innovation and scale.
With international firms expanding in Hyderabad and the state charting an ambitious life-sciences roadmap, the government affirmed its commitment towards an innovation-led future that benefits patients, industry and public.
