NWGCP 2025: PharmaGenDRx Unites India for Good Clinical Practice with 200+ Participants

PharmaGenDRx and ABS Clinical Solutions jointly in collaboration with Bioequivalence
Study Centre, Jadavpur University, hosted a National Workshop on Good Clinical Practice
(NWGCP) on 2nd August,2025. The workshop delivered the importance of ethical compliance and how to
elevate scientific standards governing clinical research and trials in India.
The workshop drew a remarkable participation of over 200 participants, including
researchers, academicians, clinicians and industry professionals joining both in-person and
via online platforms. The event served as a vital platform for knowledge exchange, policy
insights and fostering future ready clinical research practices with special keynote sessions
and poster presentations. To amplify the message this event was promoted by digital media
partners- PharmaTutor, Being Pharmacist and Pharmacist Tanyeem towards a broader Pharma
community.
The keynote session featured distinguished speakers from renowned healthcare institutions of
Kolkata, Prof Dr Suparna Chatterjee (Department of pharmacology, IPGMER), Prof.Dr Avijit
Hazra (Dean of student affairs, IPGMER, SSKM) and Dr. Supriyo Chowdhury (Assistant
Director research, institute of Neurosciences).
They delivered in-depth perspectives, highlighting current trends of clinical trials, regulatory
frameworks, ethics in human research and the integration of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
principles across academia and industry.
The NWGCP workshop is a testament to PharmaGenDRx’ s commitment to fostering a
culture of quality, transparency and accountability in clinical research. It holds an important
position in PharmaGenDRx’ s annual flagship initiative since 2024 which not only supports
